Hi, I'm Grace

With more than a decade worth of experience in Canberra real estate inspired in part by her love for Better Homes & Gardens magazine, it’s safe to say that Grace Hooper is utterly enamoured with her chosen career path. She believes that the industry chose her thanks to her love of people and capacity to form lifelong relationships with her clients (but mostly thanks to that deep-rooted love for Better Homes & Gardens magazine. Let’s be real.)

An adventurous spirit at heart, Grace is a lover of all-things fitness, from skiing to hiking and everything in between. She wakes up at 4.30am daily (even on weekends) and *dramatic pause*, doesn’t drink coffee! Just let that sink in!

Grace is renowned for her warm and personable way and it’s her drive to do things to the highest standard and be unapologetically herself that really sets her apart. Her responsive nature and ability to grow relationships has formed the foundations of an enriching career to date, and she takes great joy in seeing her clients grow not only their property portfolios, but also their families and careers.

To Grace, Someday means doing things her way. It’s about staying small and boutique, free from the influence of big business, and paring things back to the most important factor of real estate, exceptional customer service. Fueled by nothing (not one single molecule of caffeinated elixir to be found here!) but positive energy and passion for the cause, Someday is the next exciting step in Grace’s career.

Hi, I'm Jess

A self-professed enthusiast for life, Jess has been in the real estate industry since finishing school - starting with an admin role and building her career from there.

Her joie de vivre comes from her love for her family—three sons and a husband— and in contrast to Grace, Jess is a self-confessed caffeine addict mainly due to the need to keep up with her boys and their endless energy! She has an abounding appreciation for the little things in life; from coffee with friends to school drop-off and watching her boys play their chosen sports. Throw into the mix a profession that truly ignites her love for all-things people and all-things property, and you’ve got yourself a vivacious Jess that’s always ready for the next challenge… (but first, coffee).

A sensitive, introverted soul at heart with a nurturing side that is showcased through her natural aptitude for rapport and relationship building, Jess takes her clients’ triumphs and setbacks straight to heart—and she absolutely will not apologise for it.  Inspired by the concept of doing things that fit better with her family, Someday is about harnessing personal strengths and letting them shine—even if (and let’s face it, especially if) that means breaking the existing mould.

For Jess, Someday means creative freedom, the chance to focus on her own dreams and the ability to work on projects that truly align with the Someday way. Here we go!

Hi, I'm Georgia

Having somewhat stumbled into a career in property management, it didn’t take long for Georgia Hall to realise she’d landed on something that was a perfect fit.

As an unapologetically intrinsically motivated person, Georgia’s love for property management makes absolute sense; her empathy is a strength she brings to helping people from all walks of life.

She thrives when she’s on a mission and is known for her unwavering commitment to owners and tenants alike. Georgia’s ability to foster positive relationships with and between her clients is where her core values of integrity, honesty, compassion and humility come to the fore, and she’s devoted to delivering value to each and every client.

Another of the many (many!) reasons that Georgia loves working in the property space, is the unbeatable feeling of walking into a property, getting to know everything about it and matching it with someone who would love to call it home. In fact, her love for real estate extends to all things decorating and home improvements, with Georgia having been known to jump in and get on with anything from a quick re-grout of a tired tiled area (true story!), or a top-to-bottom clean of just about anywhere to breathe new life into a home.

As if her energy and enthusiasm for property weren’t enough, Georgia’s not short of extra-curricular pursuits either. The top-level list includes but is not limited to: the two small humans to whom she’s not like a regular mum, she’s a cool mum (with a penchant for noughties movie quotes, dare we say), plus crocheting, gaming, writing, caffeine, gardening and DIY. Phew!

Hi, I'm Abbey

Abbey O’Halloran-Kemp joins Grace to bring yet more Kiwi energy to the Someday team. A proud Aucklander, Abbey is a self-confessed extroverted introvert who’s been working in real estate since 2021. During her time in the space, she’s developed a talent for tuning in and adapting to the trends of a dynamic and challenging market, as well as a penchant for facilitating ideal matches between tenants and property owners.

It wasn’t always property for Abbey though. Having initially embarked on a career in administration straight out of school, she focused on dialling in her ability to learn at lightning speed (described as her unique superpower). The next challenge was a hairdresser apprenticeship upon relocating to Canberra in 2016 where Abbey grew her confidence in interacting with people and found her passion for fostering meaningful relationships.

Transitioning back to her administrative roots in 2021, Abbey found her calling in the property sector, where she’s quickly developed a name for herself through her exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.

Highly empathetic, Abbey is a dedicated mental health advocate who recognises that each day is a privilege, rather than a promise. She’s got a scrupulous and somewhat obsessive love for crafting to-do lists, and those organisation skills come in handy when it comes to scheduling her (extensive) array of hobbies too, including:

Meticulously caring for her indoor plant sanctuary, smothering her two affectionate fur babies, Leo and Jake as well as her scaly companion Morty, an array of sports, astrology, op-shopping and upcycling clothes, fashion, gardening, sewing, macrame, reading, learning, puzzles and trivia, to name but a few.

Hi, I'm James

Having discovered his love for property while living in the opposite hemisphere to his native Canberra, James’ real-estate resume boasts experience in the UK as well as within the sales, rental, strata, and project markets in Australia.

James’ speciality is helping his clients generate wealth through property, supporting people as they make life-changing decisions with a friendly, human-centred approach and a winning smile (and probably a Disney tune, his knowledge of which knows no limit).

James is committed to creating a personalised client experience and knows it’s the little things that count. He prides himself on keeping sellers involved and informed through his work with them and offers a comprehensive sales process through his auctioneering expertise, his talent for which has seen him receive a number of industry awards.

Beyond his Disney-based pursuits, James is a sporty, outdoorsy and foody soul, who loves the coast, camping, yoga and master chef-ing, as well as rugby union and supporting his beloved brumbies. He is active in the local community, hosting charity events and sharing his passion for the Canberra region’s wine offering. If he wasn’t already busy enough, James is expecting his first tiny human in Feb 2024, and it’s safe to say he’ll be stepping into the role of Disney dad with gusto
